Hi, I am Aidan, a software engineering student studying at Sheffield Hallam University. I am interested in full-stack web development using React.js, JavaScript, CSS, Express.js and MySQL. I am currently looking for work opportunity for my placement year in September 2026. I am looking to gain real-world experience to apply my skills.

NAHRIM - Weather Dashboard

I worked as part of a team to develop a comprehensive dashboard for NAHRIM to visualise and analyse temperature data from multiple weather sources. The project won 1st place for best first-year group project at Computer Science and Software Engineering Showcase 2025.

Key Features:

Interactive map with time filters and zoom-level sensor filtering

Comparison of up to three data sources simultaneously

Heat maps and dynamic line charts for data visualisation

Interactive buttons to filter by time period and toggle historical vs. forecasted data

Ability to select individual locations in Penang for in-depth analysis

Interactive tables with filter options

Extreme weather alerts system

Export functionality for CSV and visual graph formats

This project strengthened my skills in data visualisation, full-stack development, and collaborative teamwork on real-world applications.
